Our Heroes > Harvey Kaye – Ironman Triathlon
On 23 September this year, Harvey Kaye is doing an Ironman triathlon on the east coast of Italy to raise money for The Robert Sinclair Davidson Foundation.
The Ironman is widely considered to be one of the most difficult, one-day sporting events in the world, consisting of a 3.8km open water swim, a 180.2km bike ride and a marathon to finish!!!
Harvey currently plays for Rob’s old football team and we were delighted when he contacted us about fundraising for The Robert Sinclair Davidson Foundation.
Harvey had this to say about Rob and the event:
“It’s my pleasure to be able to support the Foundation. Whilst I never met Rob, he played for the Sunday league football team which I currently play for (same position in fact) and from what I am told, he was not only super fit but also the life and soul of the dressing room. Ironman will be tough but I’m very much looking forward to the challenge!”
Inspiring people like Harvey continue to help us support young couples and families affected by life threatening illnesses.
