On 23 April 2017 in East London, Richard Symonds and Bradley Wine competed in separate white collar boxing bouts raising over £6k for The Robert Sinclair Davidson Foundation. Both were fighting in their second competitive bouts having competed at the same event last year.

Richard and Bradley’s said their choice of charity was an “easy one”, having both known Robert personally. Bradley raised money for a charity of Roberts’s choice the year before (prior to foundation) so it was fitting that this year, so soon after his passing, that they would raise for The Robert Sinclair Davidson Foundation.

Training for the fights began in early January with a typical week including 2 x 6am hill sprints and sparring 2-3 times a week, along with strength and conditioning work. Diets and alcohol consumption had to be closely monitored as well! When fight night came, it was the culmination of three months hard work in the gym along with weeks of raising support and donations for the event and charity.

They both won their bouts by clear decisions.
